Job Description:

The Employee Experience Delivery team, within Sun Life IT, is looking for a client-focused and tech-savvy professional with strong communication skills to join the group.

The team is passionate about enhancing the employee technology experience and does this by engaging with employees and business partners to effectively communicate changes and gather employee insights to help drive IT decisions.

What Will You Do?

  • Consult on how to enhance the employee experience in IT projects and initiatives
  • Create and execute communication strategies
  • Develop best practice content to help employees make the most out of their tools

What Do You Need To Succeed?

  • Background or educational degree in Communications, Marketing, or degree of similar nature
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering plain language messaging for corporate communication initiatives.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and assisting others with these solutions
  • Proven ability to be flexible to rapidly shifting priorities, while functioning both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work with business partners to understand their needs, and respond with solutions

What Will Be Nice To Have?

  • Working knowledge of desktop and mobile technologies
  • Experience in creation and delivery of product and education materials
  • Design skills with experience with PowerPoint, Adobe suite of tools, etc.
  • Change management experience
  • Bilingualism (English/French) would be nice to have

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
