We are an 8-year-old successful and growing B2B media company with an integrated platform providing news, public relations, events, and creative services. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Editor to work with the team and contribute to our daily news and content covering Canadian commercial real estate markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Selection of news coverage and creation of 6-to-7 150-word news stories per day for daily emails (Monday through Friday) covering the Canadian Commercial Real Estate Market – coverage will be broken down by regions: National, Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, The Maritimes
  • Uploading and managing content on WordPress platform
  • Interview and write thought leadership content for clients as needed
  • Write evergreen content using best SEO practices

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in journalism or related field
  • Experience in commercial real estate and/or business journalism
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proficiency using WordPress
  • Knowledge of basic HTML helpful but not required
  • Knowledge of basic SEO writing strategies helpful but not required
  • Ability to think strategically, ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented, yet remote environment
  • Excellent communication, creative, writing, analytical, and organizational skills are required
  • Able to multi-task, make decisions quickly and be creative
  • Must be highly detail-oriented & possess solid organizational skills
