Customer Service Attendants
As a casual on-call Customer Service Attendant, you prepare and serve a variety of foods and beverages including assisting in the preparation and presentation of menu items; taking passenger orders; ensuring cleanliness and readiness of passenger and kitchen areas; performing housekeeping, including cleaning of washrooms and major cleaning routines throughout the vessel; and other related duties as required.
You possess strong customer service skills and are an excellent communicator with a high level of self-motivation and initiative. In addition, you are an innovative team player with an ability to work well under pressure.
You have one (1) year of customer service experience, preferably in a food service environment, and hold a valid Food Safe Certificate, Occupational First Aid Level 3 and Cook TQ Level 1 would be assets. A valid Serving it Right certificate may be required.
You are physically fit for the demanding pace of the shipboard CSA position and a valid Transport Canada Seafarer’s Medical Certificate must be obtained immediately after successful applicants are offered employment.
In an effort to accommodate work/ life balance, we have made some changes to our scheduling requirements and will now be offering options for flexible availability through the week. This will enable casual employees to block off days they are unavailable for shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday are not included.
We will be providing up to 2-3 shifts a week for those choosing to select limited availability.
