This is a key managerial role on the Operations team that requires an experienced Event Tour Manager. For resource management of company assets; including events, personnel, vehicles and equipment. The scope of this role encompasses the management of all events (The 5K Foam Fest - Canada/ Australia) and equipment related to them. As well as the logistics that are connected to each unique event venue. Including managing equipment maintenance and the organization, upkeep, purchase and general management of the warehouse and its inventory.

The Event Tour manager will work remotely most of the year. Busy on location the week of events, and will be responsible for everything the participants will see and experience on event day. Managing the course prep, obstacles placement/setup and festival area. They will direct our event operations crew to ensure that all details are handled.

The Event Tour Manager will be a true leader who can inspire and lead the tour operations. They are able to make quick critical decisions, multi- task in a potentially high stress environment, and have the desire to work on details on the back end of events to ensure their future success and growth.


  • Manage the entire set-up of each event which includes but not limited to: course layout, set-up of each obstacle, festival layout and liaise with vendors,rental companies,contractor,sponsors
  • Safety of all items such as inflatables, tents and electricals based on provincial guidelines
  • Update and maintain venue operations, event day and equipment check-lists
  • Source, plan and coordinate operational equipment and construction needs for all events
  • Involved in the negotiation and facilitation of all logistics and planning associated with each event
  • Main contact with venue representatives before, during and after event day to ensure that operations run smoothly and according to plan
  • Manage the organization and upkeep of the warehouse, including the management of inputs and outputs, receiving and distribution, sign outs, etc.
  • Managing and maintaining all 365 Transport (trucks, trailers, UTV’s and transport trailers – when on tour)
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of course crew and temporary staff; including retention of staff, interviewing, orientation guidelines and ongoing training.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing equipment maintenance, inspection and upkeep, including inventory lists, physical counts and data storage for all event equipment
  • Research Provincial and Federal guidelines specific to national event activation obstacles, inflatables and foam requirements, as well as maintenance and repairs of inflatables, as required
  • Assist in the development of the Operations budget and responsible for working within the budget guidelines
  • Responsible for carrying out contract requirements and for planning and executing site visits in a proactive manner.


  • Previous work experience in a similar industry is required
  • Forklift driver license and the ability to operate a variety of licensed vehicles and equipment is mandatory.
  • Telehandler and TSSA Certifications an asset
  • High levels of dependability, organization, attention to detail and risk management are core requirements of this role.
  • Proven track record in the areas of leadership and direction in the area of Operations
  • Must be available to attend any and all 365 Sports events and productions
  • Have the physical and mental stamina required to work outdoors, stand and walk during long periods of time
  • Lifting of medium-sized weight and sized items may be involved.
  • Use of motorized vehicles and heavy equipment are regular requirements of this role.

This is a full time 12 month contract with a possibility of extension.

Work location: Full time at head office in Meaford,ON until tour starts. On the road full time to execute each event tour. Canadian Tour(June-September) Australian Tour(December-February)

Salary: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
