Job description

· Total 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of relevant experience.

· A background in the software development, with recent experience in design, development, enhancements, upgrade of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter

· Commercial experience with GW version 7/8/9/10 (Configuration and Integration). Good to have experience of GW cloud.

· Strong experience and understanding of Edge API Framework and its integration with upstream digital applications

· Demonstrable experience of working in a hybrid applications landscape with GW and integrating applications on Cloud and on-premise

· Strong experience on java and Gosu to build and maintain general insurance policy and claims

· Good experience in Guidewire PC/CC configurations, customizations, third party integrations and incident/problem management

· Working knowledge and experience of developing RESTFUL and SOAP services

· Exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, JMS messaging queues

· Knowledge on XML and build scripts like Ant, logging mechanisms like log4j, slf4j

· Have the ability to work collaboratively, to include customers/colleagues and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders

· Energetic and enthusiastic and be able to see tasks through to completion

· Good analytical, problem-solving and have a high attention to detail

Certification in Guidewire version 10 is a plus

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
