Job Description

  • Day-to-day responsibilities to includeDesign, development for implementation, upgrade and enhancement projects of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Digital, Data, and Underwriting modules
  • Leverage Configuration and Integration skills to develop best-in-class Guidewire solutions
  • Work collaboratively with clients, leads, and team members to understand requirements, design and
  • develop appropriate solutions
  • Provide oversight and leadership to junior team members ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Keep abreast with the latest technological advancements on Guidewire and analyze impacts to
  • current project workstream
  • Work on Practice initiatives to build solutions, and accelerators and create differentiated propositions

Your experience

  • Total 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of relevant experience.

A background in software development, with recent experience in design, development,

enhancements, and upgrades of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter

  • Commercial experience with GW version 7/8/9/10 (Configuration and Integration). Good to have experience with GW cloud.
  • Strong experience and understanding of Edge API Framework and its integration with upstream digital applications
  • Demonstrable experience working in a hybrid applications landscape with GW and integrating applications on Cloud and on-premise
  • Strong experience in java and Gosu to build and maintain general insurance policies and claims
  • Good experience in Guidewire PC/CC configurations, customizations, third-party integrations, and incident/problem management
  • Working knowledge and experience in developing RESTFUL and SOAP services
  • Exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, and JMS messaging queues
  • Knowledge of XML and build scripts like Ant, logging mechanisms like log4j, slf4j
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively, including with customers/colleagues, and be comfortable
  • engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Energetic and enthusiastic and able to see tasks through to completion
  • Good analytical, and problem-solving and great attention to detail
  • Certification in Guidewire version 10 is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $72.00-$77.00 per hour


  • 8 hour shift


  • IT: 10 years (preferred)
  • Guidewire: 5 years (preferred)
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter: 5 years (preferred)
  • 7/8/9/10 (Configuration and Integration): 4 years (preferred)
