Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop recipes and new products in collaboration with the Alo Food Group culinary team.
  • Oversee hiring and kitchen design of opening bakery team.
  • Produce high quality breads including sourdough, enriched breads and viennoiseries.
  • Oversee weekly production, while managing a team of up to 10 bakers
  • Prepare and finish baked goods according to the recipes, following company-set standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new baking concepts and ideas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Skilled/ knowledgeable in European style artisanal breads
  • Knowledgeable on long fermentation times
