As the Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for helping us build a pipeline of talent to meet the demands of our ever-growing business.   • Creating a great culture where our guests and team members are cared for
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge leadership and team member relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital (knowledge, experience, skills of employees)
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to leadership and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a source of reliable transportation
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work in a standing kitchen environment for 4-5 hours at a time
  • Honor all policies in the Team Member Handbook
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Able to lift 40lbs


In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
