Do you fit the part?


  • Post-secondary education, either enrolled or completed, in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • Administrative or office work experience considered an asset
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work independently
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette


  • Assist with recruitment processes from screening candidates, to conducting background checks including reference checks, criminal checks, and credit checks
  • Assist with calling candidates for pre-screen interviews
  • Updating and maintaining the HRIS and other internal programs/ platforms
  • Assist in managing all external and internal Careers Page job postings
  • Working in collaboration with the team to ensure that recruitment and human resources initiatives and processes are developed, implemented, communicated, and delivered
  • Various administrative duties, such as generating reports, organizing exit interviews, removing terminated staff from internal groups, etc.
  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic documents
  • Maintain the filing systems by creating new folders for organizing yearly file change-over
  • Potential reception relief as needed
  • Other duties/projects as requested by the Human Resources Team
