ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Position Summary
Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.

Essential to this Position

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish credibility and influence quickly among Senior Leaders as well as the established client group
  • Provide HR Business Partner support to client groups in all HR areas, including People Planning, Staffing, Leadership Capability, Organizational Health and Employee Relations
  • Provide coaching to People Leaders to enhance their Leadership and Employee Relations skills
  • Coach leaders in leveraging and maximizing Menasha’s performance management tools for talent management, staff development, and performance improvement plans
  • Manage and develop internal communications plans and programs to enhance employee engagement through development of employees’ alignment to Menasha's values, culture and objectives
  • Presentation of HR programs and best practices in accordance with corporate guidelines and labour legislation
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs within your established client group
  • Develop, implement and analyze trends through reports and metrics to provide realistic solutions to business challenges and enhance awareness of HR best practices and emerging issues
  • Recommend employee relations practices, guide and counsel managers about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company
  • Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Work Experience Required
At least 2 years relevant experience

  • A proven ability to lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes continuous quality and exceeding customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication, presentation and written skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with systems: Excel, Power Point + experience with applicable HR Systems (HRIS, Recruitment Software, Succession Planning tools etc.)
  • Knowledge of and ability to plan and develop an organization's HR operations in order to increase individual and organizational effectiveness
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement HR related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure smooth daily HR operations
