NorthStar Transport has more than 12 employees across all its locations (Dartmouth, NS & Mississauga, ON). NorthStar have a fleet of 70 + trucks and about 140+ trailers include reefer and dry vans. Job Description

NORTHSTAR TRANSPORT is currently seeking a Outbound Dispatcher & Planner to join our team based out of MISSISSAUGA, ON.

• Plan loads and routes for the drivers and schedule their pick up and delivery appointments
• Assist dispatchers in troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day issues
• Panning resources for all lanes. Manage equipment to provide service efficiently.
• Must have good knowledge of LOAD LINK/ DAT & Other Load Boards.
• Minimum 3 year experience in dispatching is must. Excellent communication skills · Ability to work independently and seek guidance when necessary. Dispatching software FLEET MANAGER and basic Hours of Service knowledge is must.
• Use knowledge of North American geography to research and determine the most cost efficient and economical routes
