Part-time/Freelance Marketing and Social Media Specialist

Job description

NetJOI, a new telecom reseller, will commence commence operations in early November. I'm seeking to hire a Marketing Analyst on a part-time basis who will ultimately own the Marketing and acquisition strategy for NetJOI. Specifically, the successfully person will be responsible for: -

1. Own the overall Marketing & acquisition strategy for NetJOI, including generating ideas to achieve acquisition goals
2. Generate relevant traffic to site primarily using Google ads and other digital channels
3. Design marketing collaterals including emails, newsletters, brochures, yard signs for both online and offline consumption.
4. Manage social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant social media accounts
5. Creates graphics to be used in marketing collateral
6. Manages the end to end process of designing and printing of marketing collateral, through NewPrint, PostGrid or similar services
7. Develop and design email marketing communication
8. Identify the best markets/communities to rollout the product
9. Measure all marketing metrics
10. Propose changes to optimize website’s SEO performance

Qualifications and Skills

  • Self starter, must be absolutely comfortable with ambiguity and leading an initiative from the ground floor
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Canadian marketplace (Telecom experience is an asset, but not required)
  • Good level of proficiency with graphics editing/creation tools like Canvas, Figma, Photoshop or other design tools
  • Prior experience in marketing and leading the acquisition strategy
  • Experienced with SEO / SEM management, or willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 15 per week

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
