JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for inspection of materials, assemblies and finished products to ensure they meet specification requirements. Monitoring of manufacturing department to verify they are following procedures. Inspection of in-process and final product to assess quality. Identify and tag non-complying product and follow up to ensure deficiencies are corrected.

MAIN DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Inspect incoming outside vendor supplied material to verify compliance with required specifications.
• Inspect materials in process, frame assembly and completed frames for compliance with engineering drawings.
• Identify and tag non-complying materials, communicate deficiencies with appropriate personnel to ensure appropriate corrective actions are completed.
• Perform silicone quality tests including, butterfly, snap, peal adhesion and ratio tests.
• Perform / witness deglaze quality checks.
• Maintain quality documentation records.
• Calibrate measurement instruments and maintain calibration data base.
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Demonstrated ability to understand construction drawings and related technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality inspection and measurement

Other Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must understand shop drawings, frame and part drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Familiar with curtainwall construction
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
