Psychotherapists, Social Workers and/or Counsellors
*Summary: *
* Reporting to the clinical practice owner, you will be providing psychotherapy, counselling, therapeutic education, expertise & support to individuals, couples and/or families
In-Person / Office setting
* Currently looking for in-person, days, evenings (6-9pm) & Saturdays (9-5pm) for individuals, couples, and families at various ages and life stages
* We are NOT accepting Qualifying Psychotherapists or Students wanting to complete their University Practicums (currently)
*Responsibilities: *
* Provide short, medium to long-term psychotherapy & counselling services as assigned from the clinical practice owner
* Provide individuals, couples, families, children, preteens, adolescents, and young adults with psychotherapy & counselling (brief & short-term) services
* Provide therapeutic support, guidance, and knowledge to clients within the office setting (Currently IN-PERSON ONLY)
* To combine past & related working experience with specific modalities & treatments in the private practice setting with clients
* Communicate with external professionals on clients' behalf, with express consent (if and/or when required)
*Core Qualifications and Skills: *
* A Minimum of a MASTER'S DEGREE in Counselling, Psychology and/or Social Work
* Professional College Membership, updated Police Check & Valid Professional Liability Insurance
* Be able to commit to a ONE YEAR CONTRACT after completing a 90 Day Probation to maintain a seamless transition in modelling stability & reliability for clients
* Minimum of (6) years post-graduate (clinical) counselling, psychology and/or social work experience and a minimum of (4) years of in-person experience
* Experience working in a clinical team environment setting (as Moksha grows) for SUPERVISION & INDEPENDENT INTERACTION with one's clients
* Experience, knowledge & confidence to work with all ages and/or population groups such as children, adolescents, youth, adults, couples & families
* Ability to work with diverse clients presenting with a wide variety of issues & having a good knowledge of local community resources
* A thorough understanding of a PRIVATE PRACTICE while maintaining a client caseload & using therapeutic modalities to cater/assist clients
* Strong clinical assessment skills with specificity to positive individual & community adaptation and integration
* Ability to set short & long-term objectives and work from a strength-based model, in addition to other therapeutic modalities
* Ability to write a report in a clear & concise manner and to submit it within a strict timeline (if required)
* Excellent verbal, written & communication skills with good time management & organization skills
* Adherence to professional boundaries for client intervention & care
* A SELF-DIRECTED APPROACH in working independently with one's clients while seeking guidance & supervision from the clinical practice owner
* Access to a home office, high speed internet & a printer (if required)

Job Types: Contracted Part-time positions. Part-time is a minimum of 3 days per week. You will start with a gradually increasing caseload of clients of your preference based on your schedule, availability & long-term commitment to Moksha's clients.
Pay is based on practitioner's experience, skills & knowledge and experience with private practice. Moksha's pay is above average in this industry.
*COVID-19 considerations* We are currently seeing clients in-person who are recommended to be fully vaccinated. We continue to support employees to fulfill legal guidelines required for this essential service. All employees are recommended to be fully vaccinated. A mask may be worn inside the building (not in the office).
