Position Summary:
(1) Development of machine learning models to forecast and project marine traffic and related climate variables based on available regional climate simulations at various resolutions and observations
(2) Setting up the models on Compute Canada Cluster
(3) Preparation of technical papers/reports
(4) Participation in group meetings
(5) Train HQP in using the developed models.

  • Master’s degree in Machine Learning
  • Exposure to engineering/climate system modelling
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
