Job Role: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)

who you will work with:

You will be part of the client Intranet Migration project team. In this dynamic role, teamwork will be the key to your success as you work collaboratively within a cross functional team with both internal and external members - such as business partners, vendor consultants, external delivery partners, project manager and development team. Versatility and flexibility will be extremely important as you move through different project phases and assume different roles as required by the project.

What you will do:

Participate in the initiation and planning of projects - including facilitating the definition of objectives, scope, and deliverables as well as provide Business Analysis work estimates.

Produce business analysis related documentation, including requirements (functional and non-functional) & user stories, current and future state processes and workflows, and solution specifications to a high-quality standard

Participate in the vendor selection (RFI and RFP) and evaluation process working with procurement, Sr project manager and business partners

Works with business and solution teams to ensure that solutions being delivered meet business intent and provide business value

Demonstrate requirements traceability and lead the User Acceptance phase of initiatives (define test strategy & plan, collect test cases, oversee execution). Work with Business, Solutions Engineering and testers to ensure solutions meet stated requirements.

Work with vendor in devising conversion strategy and plan. Participate and support final implementation

Support user training and change management as required

What you will need:

University degree or equivalent experience (Communication, Computer Science, Engineering)
Minimum 7 years' experience in business analysis or Corporate Communication areas delivering medium to large size projects. Experience in intranet design, build, maintenance and migration projects will be a definite asset.
Subject matter expertise in the Corporate Communication areas. In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Content Management best practice and technologies
Experience of corporate information management processes and governance, e.g. intranet content, policy and procedure management, records management or web content management
Experience working with content management platforms
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, collaborating effectively with business, delivery and technology partners
Excellent understanding of techniques and tools pertaining to the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of technology solutions
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple levels of clients, teams and partners
Proactive customer focus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
