Mobile Klinik is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be an integral member of the Mobile Klinik Finance team. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Finance and will be supporting the forecasting, budgeting and full-cycle accounting processes of the Finance team.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks and profitability opportunities of specific business units
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide detailed financial plans for business units
  • Update ongoing forecasts and analyses by working with the Finance team and key business stakeholders to incorporate new business trends and opportunities
  • Monitor and track results versus budget/forecast, perform variance analysis, investigate variances to identify risks and opportunities, and communicate findings to the Finance team
  • Identify patterns and underlying trends through performing a thorough, detailed analysis of large quantities of data using advanced Excel knowledge
  • Provide all management reporting on an accurate, timely and reliable basis
  • Assist in month-end processes and full-cycle accounting, including preparing variance reports, month-end schedules, journal entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying, communicating and resolving discrepancies with team members of relevant departments
  • Manage franchise and partner invoicing and payment collection process from beginning to end
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
  • Maintain up to date process documentation for all primary responsibilities
  • Other duties as required, including ad hoc analysis, reporting and special projects


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant analytical and full-cycle accounting experience in a mid-size organization
  • Experience in reviewing management financial statements and providing analysis on variances to operational management
  • CPA professional designation required
  • Undergraduate degree required (Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g. complex IF statements, index/match, macros)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, anticipate roadblocks, and manage multiple deliverables to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships with other departments and external customers and suppliers
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting or finance concepts to a non-finance audience
  • Self-motivated individual who is proactive, takes initiative, and results-oriented
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and SAP an asset
