We are looking for a creative and talented social media enthusiast to take on the role of Social Media Coordinator. In this role, you will execute our social media and digital content strategy across various digital platforms.

Who you are:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English , with an exceptional ability to write social content
  • You are no stranger to Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Mewe, Instagram, Youtube, SnapChat and Telegram
  • You enjoy helping newcomers, and like to explore new things and finding information they need
  • You have a passion for Social Media and enjoy analyzing, researching and sharing ideas

What will you do:

  • Develop, execute and maintain our social media campaign and strategy
  • Create organic content that is educational to our audiences and boosts engagement
  • Design posts for instagram stories and posts
  • Conduct analysis and reporting of campaigns by tracking metrics to support present insights and opportunities to improve
  • Liaise with team members to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
  • Review and edit all copy that generated by team members and offer feedback when necessary
  • Identify new marketing opportunities to build or nurture relationships with our community and social media influencers

Requirements

  • You hold post-secondary education in a related field with a minimum 1 years’ experience in social media marketing and/or community management
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Canva
  • Familiarity with SEO, basic Google Analytics, Wordpress, and social media ads
  • Hands on experience working in WordPress is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of content management systems, but not required
  • Strong analytic skills around digital reporting and tracking, such as using Google Analytics and SEMrush to provide recommendations based on results.
  • Ability to work from home, isolated without office setting
  • Proficient in Cantonese is an asset

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-10 per week

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

  • North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
